radical leftist queer feminist army
BY STELLA NYANZI (PHD)
Verse 1
Unlike all you naysayers,
I contested for Woman Member of Parliament.
I work hard, unlike you players:
That’s why I sought Kampala voters to represent.
And the oppressed Kampala voters
Rejected my emancipatory manifesto.
They said, “There is no place among legislators
For a Radical Leftist Queer Feminist woman!”
Verse 2
At the core of my manifesto on leadership
Is the inclusion of marginalized communities.
My nominators at the Electoral Commission
Included a transgender man at the height of transitioning With a Harvard post-graduate education,
And a beautiful feminist businesswoman
Fighting for human rights and Uganda’s liberation.
Both my nominators abuse their privilege to serve society’s underdogs.
Verse 3
Central to my social, economic and political participation Is the drive to transform oppressive structures of power. I urgently believe in reclaiming people power through revolution. I aim at a total dismantling of Musevenists’ tyrannical tower. I support unity of all in the struggle(s) for Uganda’s liberation. All freedom fighters must harmonize for the final hour. We need a major overhaul of NRMO capitalist subjugation. Uganda must raise an army of Radical Leftist Queer Feminists.
